Mr. Gao was awarded his LLB degree by the Southwest University of Political Science and Law in 1992. He had served at the court and two other law firms prior to joining our Guangzhou office.
Mr. Gao has provided to dozens of inland and Hong Kong companies legal services in litigation, arbitration, liquidation and corporate governance. He was appointed as legal specialist by a top IT company in the negotiation with China Unicom in relation to the supply and service contracts of CDMA equipment. In addition, as lawyer specializing in securities business, he advised many companies on initial public offerings, debt issuance, reorganization, mergers and acquisitions. Due to his reputation in the capital market, furthermore, he was invited to serve as independent director in a listed company.
As a partner in our Banking, Finance and Capital Markets group, Mr. Gao specializes in capital markets, corporate governance, investment and management counseling.
