Ms. Tan graduated with an LLB from the East China College of Political Science and Law. She was awarded the Lawyer Qualification in 1992 and has served in our Guangzhou office since 1994.
Ms. Tan has rich experience in real estate development and mortgage arrangements. She advised a Hong Kong bank on Chinese laws and rules involved in the mortgage arrangement by means of which Hong Kong residents could buy property located inland. She also served as lead counsel for a top construction contractor, advising it on general corporate matters, supply and construction contracts, tenders and outside investments.
With professional knowledge in insurance, Ms. Tan advised a leading underwriter on disposal of claims, dispute resolution and development of new products and services.

In the insolvency of GITIC, Ms. Tan was appointed as Chinese law counsel, providing legal services in relation to tracing, disposal of assets and so forth.
Ms. Tan is highly capable of providing legal services in a wide range of areas of practice, mainly including general corporate matters, insurance, financing arrangements and construction.
