Mr. He graduated from Sun Yat-Sen University in 1990 and has served as a lawyer in our Guangzhou office since 1994. He had worked at a leading securities company prior to joining us.
Mr. He is a partner with extensive experience and expertise in litigation. He prevented a foreign-invested company from being dragged into insolvency by applying for re-hearing by the court of the initial judgment on the ground of new strong evidence. As a result, he has been appointed as long-term counsel by the client.
In addition to considerable achievements in litigation, Mr. He has established a reputation in insolvency. He advised the liquidator of a Hong Kong company and the acquirer on liquidation, disposal of assets and reorganization. In 1999, he was appointed as Chinese law counsel by both the liquidator of a leasing subsidiary of GITIC and the liquidator of GITIC, advising them on the liquidation of the leasing subsidiary and the total transfer of all nine securities agencies in the group respectively.
Mr. He’s expertise encompasses mainly general company and commercial matters, securities trading, insolvency and dispute resolution.
