Ms. Lin obtained an M.Phil from Sun Yat-Sen University in 1992. She was awarded the qualification of Certified Securities Lawyer by the Justice Department and the China Securities Regulatory Commission in 1996. She is the managing partner in our Shenzhen office.
Ms. Lin has played a considerable role in a large amount of litigation in relation to many property developers. As head lawyer by a developer for appealing, She overthrew the illegitimately-set jurisdiction of the initial court by urging the Supreme Court to instruct directly on the jurisdiction. Based on her quality legal services and achievements, Ms. Lin has been appointed as long-term counsel by several large-sized companies, advising them on company and commercial matters.
In addition to general contentious and non-contentious matters, Ms. Lin has rich experience and expertise in insolvency and restructuring. She was considerably involved in the liquidation of a locally leading financial institution, advising the liquidator on sorting out assets and debts, tracing and disposing of assets. In 1999, she was appointed as Chinese law counsel by the liquidator of GITIC.
Ms. Lin has in-depth expertise in company law, commercial law, liquidation, real estate and litigation.
